When Aperture has been released (I love this software, but you already know that), I thought to myself : yeah, that is the tool I need to manage the pictures I take during weddings.
But I search tutorials and trainings, without finding something
I said I shouldn't be the only one in this case.
So, I talked about it to my friend JJ, and Aperweb was born!
After some dificult first days (as it was for Aperture too), Aperweb has been slowly improved. We thought while creating it, it wouldn't have more than 50 people registered. We are far from this point today : thank you to everybody!
During my meeting around France, I could see that a lot of people learn about Aperture by reading Aperweb : the first mission was done. I remember this man in Rennes during the presentation of Aperture 1.0 who, taking a big folder from his bag, filled with Apperweb's chronicles he has printed, saying me: "Do you know this fabulous website?" No, I said by modesty. By your help, the forum is now a true place of assistance and sharing: second mission is done.
It's impossible to write this editorial without talking about these amazing meetings: Phil (Apple Europe), Vincent (Apple France), Max-Pol (Aperture demonstrator and very good teacher), Yves (Wisibility), Vincent Munier (captivating photographer), Philippe (great man from i-Concept), Bruno (phtography lover from DXM), Elie (MCS), Patrice (iTribu), William (Actimac), Isabelle (ALis), Francis (Alkymia), Thierry (DigitLife), Dominique (Surcouf Bordeaux) and so more.
Aperweb's fundations remain the same, after one year: simplicity - sharing competences - mutual assistance. Don't think we will stay like that without improving this website: several innovations will be impremented during the next monthes, as soon as we will find some free room in our schedules (most time, very overloaded). More photographers (famous or not) who will share their vision of photography - more chronicles - New forum with Aperture's look and feel - 5-star section - website with improved new look in summer... I bring to mind that here, everything is free of charge, and you won't see ads or promotional chronicles.
Aperweb, it's you!
Don't hesitate to send us a mails with your wishes.
Aperturely yours
P.S. : Steve, you are welcome here, come when you want ;-)

At least ! Aperweb adopts the Aperture 2 look ! Why waiting so long ? Simply because I didn't have a copy of Aperture 2. But with the help of Apple Europe, whom I thank warmly for their generous gift, I own the new opus of this excellent software.
